COMMUNITY HEALTH NURSING LAB
Community Health Nursing Lab provides an experience similar to working on a team of Community Health Nurses responding to a Primary Health Care need of a specific community. The student will learn skills in responding to community needs by implementing various concepts like Primary Health Care, the Population Health Promotion, the Community as Partner model etc. The lab is equipped with several models like local community model, sewage model, bore well model and more than 100 community health care bags.
Objectives
To provide knowledge and skill by using various models available in the lab.
To prepare students on comprehensive care to individual and community.
To prepare the students to develop IPR with the community population to involve actively in the community programs.
To prepare the students to assist/conduct school health programme.
To organize health camps in the community areas.
